There are many ways to donate to your library!

Your donation helps us continue providing services and materials to the community.
We thank you for your support.

Many workplaces offer easy ways to support local organizations through annual United Way campaigns.  Use code 996270 to direct your donation to the Oakmont Carnegie Library’s Job and Career Center, a collection of materials designed to assist patrons in making educated career choices.

You can also donate directly to the library online with a credit card here.
Make sure to select Oakmont Carnegie Library from the drop down list. After your donation, you will receive a printable receipt.

If you are interested in donating money for books or other materials as a memorial for or tribute to a loved one, please come into the library or call us at (412) 828 – 9532 for more information.  Checks should be made out to the Oakmont Carnegie Library.

We also accept donations of gently used items for our book sale.

  • Hardcover and paperback books in good condition will be accepted

  • Audio books, CDs, and videos / DVDs will be accepted

  • Magazines will be accepted (no older than a few months)

  • No mildew, stains, rips, odors, yellowing pages or missing covers

A receipt for tax purposes is available upon request.
